Charles Hart was admitted as a Solicitor in 1988. He previously worked as a solicitor for Messrs Burroughs Day, Bristol and Weston-super-Mare (1986 - 1991), Messrs Grey and Co., Weston-super-Mare (1991 - 1992) Avon County Council (part time 1992 - 1996) and as a founding partner of Hart Lloyd & Co, Weston-super-Mare (1993 - 2008). He is a Court and Police Station Duty Solicitor at Weston, Bridgwater and Taunton. He specialises in criminal work and is a Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts Criminal Proceedings).
